


I visited this tower in 2005.
Omal Tower lies in the village with the same name, south of the town of Waremme in Belgium.
This building may not be a 'real' castle, but it's a nice and unknown ruin, that's the advantage of
being your own webmaster.
It is more a fortified tower house, built in 1625 by the Mollin-Menjoye family. It was meant as a
refuge for the local village population during times of passing foreign troops. During peace time it
was used as a dovecote.
I don't know if it was ever attacked, because I wasn't able to find any more info. If you got some,
