I visited this tower in 2000.
Tomp Tower stands in a wet forest near the village of Achel, north east of the town of Neerpelt, in the province of Limburg in the Flemish region in Belgium.
Tomp Tower is round keep, dating back to, probably, 1309. It's builder is most likely to have been a knight; Willem van Boxtel. It was besieged in 1365. It fell into ruin in the beginning of the 15th century when its inhabitants moved to the new Grevenbroek Castle. In 1968 it was restored.
The tower sits on a moated little island in a marshy area. When I visited the tower was closed and I don't know if it can be visited at other times.
