Puñoenrostro Castle, locally known as Castillo de Puñoenrostro or Castillo de Seseña, lies next to the town of Seseña, in the province of Toledo in Spain.

The following historical info is taken from a little Spanish booklet, titled Castillos de Toledo. My Spanish translation skills aren't great so forgive any mistakes that may occur.

Puñoenrostro Castle was built in the 14th century. Its name derives from the Dukes of Puñoenrostro; the family Arias Dávila, who were given these lands by the King of Castile and whose descendants owned it until the 19th century.

Puñoenrostro Castle has a simple layout; square with round towers at its corners. The keep reproduces this plan and projects out of the southern curtain wall. Along the top of the keep there is machicolation. The castle was once encompassed by a smaller curtain wall with smaller corner towers. Of this wall and three towers only a small portion remains. The gate was protected by two of these towers and a drawbridge over a dry moat.

At present the castle seemed to be private property. It was closed and could not be visited. Too bad because I would have loved see its interior.
