I visited this castle in 1998.
Innis Chonnell Castle lies on an island in Loch Awe in Scotland.
Well, 'visited' isn't exactly true. I couldn't find any possibility to visit it. The picture is
taken from the eastern shore of the Loch.
The castle dates from the 13th century. It served as the principal residence of
the Campbell Clan until they moved to Inverary in 1450.
It looks intriguing and pretty undisturbed to me and I would like to visit it in
the future.
