Al Khor Fort

Al Khor Fort is situated in the city of Al Khor in the municipality of Al Khor in Qatar. The municipality is also spelled as Al Khawr.

Somewhere I read that this building was called the Al Khor Fort. I don't know if it actually ever was a fort. It could well be that it is a more recent structure with no historical roots. Maybe it was a police post.

The building can not be visited. It looked like it was being used by some official institution. It is not really interesting but just an extra for when you visit the Al Khor Towers.
