Al Murabaa Tower

Al Murabaa Tower stands on the corniche of the city of Ajman, in the emirate of Ajman in the United Arab Emirates.

Al Murabaa Tower was built in the 1930s by the late Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. It guarded the fishing village of Ajman from pirates and oversaw the pearl divers. In 2000 it was restored. I don't have any other historical information about it. If you know more; please mail me.

Al Murabaa Tower can freely be visited externally. A big contrast; the old tower in the shadow of the new giants.
