Stone Castle

Stone Castle lies in the village of the same name, in the county of Kent in England.

Stone Castle was probably built as a fortified manor house without license between 1135 and 1140. Al that remains of the medieval castle is a square tower on the southeast corner of the present building. The rest of the present building is a castellated house dating back to the 1820s.

At present Stone Castle is used as an office and can not be visited. Not a very interesting site.
