Water Tower

Water Tower, locally known as Tour de l'Eau, lies in the village of Warcq, in the Ardennes department in France.

Water Tower, dating back to the 11th century, is the sole remnant of the ramparts that protected the village of Warcq before the French Revolution. It is situated on the bank of the Meuse river at a bend. It was a circular watchtower and it has lost a third of its height.

At present the Water Tower can only be visited on appointment. A simple tower, not very spectacular.
