Ballintotis Castle

Ballintotis Castle lies in a small park in the Ballintotis townland, between Midleton and Castlemartyr, in County Cork in Ireland.

I don't know when Ballintotis Castle was built. It was however granted to George Moore in 1579 but was soon recovered by the FitzGeralds. I don't have any other historical information. If you know more, please mail me.

Ballintotis Castle is a square tower with 4 stories. It was closed when I visited and I don't know if its interior can be visited. Looks interesting.
