Narikala Towers

The Narikala Towers are standing in the center of the city of Tbilisi in Georgia.

I could not find any historical information about these 2 square towers. I guess they date back to around the 17th-18th century. I presume they were an integral part of the defense of the city of Tbilisi, together with Narikala Castle.

They are situated below Narikala Castle, in the Tsavkisistskhali valley, and are probably within the grounds of the National Botanical Garden of Georgia.

I don't know if both the towers can freely be visited, as I only saw them from a distance. Hopefully I will be able to visit them in the future. They look very nice.
