Sheikh Halis Bin Khadim Fort

Sheikh Halis Bin Khadim Fort, lies in the Al Kamil neighborhood in the town of Al Kamil Wal Wafi, in the Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate in Oman.

The full name of the fort is 'the fort of Sheikh Khamis bin Halis bin Khadim Al Rashidi Al Hashemi'. I could not find any other information about this fort. It seems like part of it is still inhabited, so I guess it is private property.

The fort has a square ground plan with round towers on 3 of its corners.

Sheikh Halis Bin Khadim Fort can not be visited. I liked the slender, eroding towers. In the same neighborhood I found 2 other fortifications; Beni Omar Castle and Al Kamil Old Castle.
