Šušina Tower

Šušina Tower, locally known as Šušina Kula, lies south of the town of Donji Karin, in the county of Zadar in Croatia.
I couldn't find any information about this tower. Since it's located on a hill leading to Karin Castle, I suspect it was part of the defense system of the old town of Corinium/Karin, along with several other towers.
The tower is square and has a vaulted ground floor. The attached rectangular structure might be from a later period.
Šušina Tower is freely accessible. It's a nice tower, but watch out for poisonous snakes that apparently frequent the ruins. I ran into one, which was luckily more startled than I was.
